Hi,
I had become involved in the new age / occult, but have returned fully to the church. I’ve rid my home of pretty much everything that was associated with it… except my smudge shell and feather. I am Native American and part of me wants to keep this due to my heritage. I have used it for smudging my home, myself, etc in the past. When I did this I always prayed to God.
Is there reason for me to get rid of this item as well? I don’t plan on ever using it for smudging ever again, although I would consider burning sage in it as incense since I love te smell.
Please help.
